The Los Che have been on the trail of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Bryan Gil, who is said to be looking to leave the English side in search of first team football.
When asked about the future of Bryan Gil, Antonio Conte made it very clear that if a player departs the current squad before the window closes, it will happen only if a replacement is found.
Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the young Spaniard had impressed Antonio Conte in training and could remain at Tottenham for the time being. However, it was later reported that Valencia had made ‘new contacts’ with Tottenham over a deal for Gil.
Speaking at the post-match press conference after their win against Wolves, Conte had these to say on the issue; “I was very clear in the press conference before this game.
“This squad is this and if someone goes away then another has to come. This has to be very clear for everybody. Otherwise we stay with this squad and we continue our path with these players, this squad.”
Gil has found it hard time to get into the starting lineup since making the switch from Spain in a swap deal.
Meanwhile…
Valencia are already considering their alternatives and may move for Italian midfielder, Roberto Gagliardini, who is considered a substitute player at his current club, Inter Milan.

Despite his status at the club, it would be hard to convince the Nerazzurri to let the player leave and with the size of their budget, it would be hard for the Los Che to present a tempting offer for the player, who is very much appreciated by their coach.
