More Details

Officials from the match showed Sartini a red card in the 95th minute and removed him from the game.

In addition to the automatic one-match suspension that follows a red card, MLS has imposed an additional five-match suspension for his violations of league policies, which include confronting opponents on the field of play and criticizing the team in public after the game. This makes six matches suspended altogether.

In addition, Sartini has been fined $20,000 and is required to follow any therapy recommendations and finish a behavioral examination that has been approved by the league.

In the opening game of Vancouver’s 2024 MLS regular season, Sartini will serve his one-match suspension for receiving a red card. He will then serve his remaining five regular season games.

Sartini may request a suspension reduction contingent on his adherence to any prescribed treatment plans.

Inter Miami CF’s head coach, Gerardo “Tata” Martino, has declared that the Club is once again interested in bringing in former teammate Luis Suárez during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Martino stated that the team is still interested in signing the 36-year-old Uruguayan during a press conference the day before Miami’s final MLS home game, which ended in a 2-2 draw with Charlotte FC.
