According to several reliable sources, EPL side, Arsenal have reached total agreement with Gyokeres on personal terms and the player has already informed his Portuguese club about his desire to move to North London and would not be listening to any other club.
This now means that the path towards Arsenal is probably closed for Osimhen and with Chelsea already out of the equation after they signed Liam Delap, the Nigerian striker has decided on where he wants to play next and it will not be Saudi Arabia or Italy.
According to reports from Italy and Turkey, Osimhen has informed Galatasaray of his desire to stay with the Turkish club as he doesn’t want a move to the Middle East and Napoli would not sell him to another Interested suitor, Juventus because they don’t want to strengthen a direct rival.
Osimhen spent the last season on loan with the Super Lig side and he has already rejected a big-money offer from Al-Hilal and is now set on staying in Turkey after initial confusion on where his future lies, according to what has been reported by the Corriere dello Sport.
Already he has been described as ‘the most complicated transfer’ but now, all that remains is for the Turkish league champions and the Serie A champions to reach an agreement concerning the fee for the player as his contract includes a release clause available to non-Italian clubs set at €75m.
The Partenopei are only prepared to sell the player to the Turkish club if this clause is activated. However, the reports suggest that in Turkey, companies are prepared to play their part in the transfer; offering sponsorships to help cover the cost of the clause.
Therefore, it could only be a matter of time before Gala present their formal offer to Napoli – meaning any other interested parties will have to act fast to avoid missing out, but it is almost certain that Osimhen would not be joining Juventus, unless there is a last minute miracle.
In a related development, Jesse Marsch, the head coach of the Canadian national team, has praised new Juventus striker Jonathan David – stating that he is the second best striker in Europe behind Erling Haaland. Speaking in an interview, Marsch said:
“There are all different kinds of strikers but in terms of pure returns, David is right after Haaland.” The former Leeds United head coach has worked with some truly talented strikers whilst coming through the Red Bull coaching set-up, helping launch the careers of some impressive strikers.

Haaland, Benjamin Sesko, Christopher Nkunku and Karim Adeyemi were at some point under his tutelage. For Juve, after signing David, they still want to bring in another striker and have been linked with a move for Osimhen, but that opportunity is gradually slipping away.
Also, they will have to sort out the future of Dusan Vlahovic, which is currently hanging in the balance. When asked if David could play with Osimhen, Marsch said “Absolutely! Osimhen is a centre-forward, David more of a second striker. I don’t know if it will happen but on paper it would be a fantastic duo.”

“They would score between them at least 50 goals.” When asked who his favourite player is in Juventus’ current team, Marsch replied “Yildiz is a great player. I also like McKennie, who I coached at Leeds. I don’t know Tudor personally but I’d like to come and see his training sessions in Turin.” He said.
