Villareal CF Unveil Pancha Lara

Chilean defender, Pancha Lara has joined Sara Monforte’s tutored side ahead of the 2021/2022 season.
Villarreal CF has reached an agreement with Chilean defender Pancha Lara, who will play for Villarreal Femenino next season.
The footballer arrives as a free agent after playing last season at Havre Athletic Club of Division 1 Féminine (French first division).
Pancha Lara is the ninth signing of the Sara Monforte team. Previously, Nerea Pérez, Tere Morató, Pamela Tajonar, Raquel Pinel, Zaïra Flores, Paola Soldevila, Estefa Lima, and Ainoa Campo were announced as the club new additions.
Francisca Lara, 30, is an experienced, forceful, and physically strong player. She has a good left foot and can easily join the attack force occupying different offensive positions.
The Chilean defender began her professional career in Chile at Cobreloa and, subsequently, at Colo-Colo; her team with which she won the Women’s Copa Libertadores in 2012.
In the 2017/18 season, she arrived in Spain at Sporting de Huelva and later played for Sevilla.
In addition, the Chilean has featured for her country with her participation at the Pan American Games and several editions of the Copa América Femenina.
Currently, Pancha Lara is with the national team preparing for Tokyo Olympics from where she will team up with her new teammates at Villareal after the competition.
