Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland represents one of the hottest name in the transfer market and his next club has been a subject of speculation since he joined Borussia Dortmund in 2020.

Many top European clubs are interested in the 2020 Golden Boy award winner and with him being represented by the well known agent, Mino Raiola, nothing short of a miracle would allow his present club to keep hold of him beyond the current season.

Raiola is a tough negotiator when it comes to contract renewal and represents some well known footballers like Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Haaland is a rare commodity, he is just 21-year-old and he’s scored eleven goals in eight games in the Bundesliga this season, and managed to notch a remarkable 74 in 72 since joining Dortmund from Salzburg.

“We’ve been thinking about [Haaland’s next move] for two years,” Mino Raiola, confessed to Sport 1. “We’re not influenced by the market. We can influence the market with a player like Haaland. Really, it’s a second game, parallel to football. There’s two days of matches and five of rumours.”

These statements will most likely bring the top European clubs knocking on the door of Raiola for the signature of Haaland with the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain at the forefront, not ruling out the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.

Dortmund who are second in the Bundesliga, four points behind Bayern Munich and have found themselves knocked out of the UEFA Champions League competition will be hoping to get the best possible deal for their star striker if he eventually leaves.

Borussia Dortmund have identified the ideal player to replace Erling Haaland incase he eventually leaves the club.

Karim Adeyemi, who currently plays for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria is seen as the perfect replacement and coincidentally, Haaland was also purchased from the same club and the club seem to be going in the same route, hoping that he would go on to have the same impact as Haaland.

Adeyemi, who is also a transfer target of Barcelona and Real Madrid might be tempted with the prospect of joining the German side, as they are known for giving opportunities to young talents with the likes of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham examples of the talents churned out by the club.
