If they can strike a deal with Dortmund, the German is also willing to transfer, and personal terms shouldn’t be a problem.
But as West Ham continues to look into a deal to get the Aston Villa striker, Duran is still their primary priority.
However, the Hammers are adamant that the entire compensation package Villa is requesting is excessive for a Premier League striker who has not yet shown his mettle.

Although West Ham is still interested in him, they are ready to end the talks if Aston Villa does not drop their demands.
Aston Villa are refusing to budge, therefore the Hammers have even attempted to include players in a deal, but to no avail.
If things don’t improve quickly enough, West Ham is prepared to give up on Duran and is looking at trades for other strikers.
