Who Looks Good Going Into The Euros With Showtime In England?

Written by Oluwaseun Oyediji
All eyes next week will be on the CONCACAF Women’s Championship, but don’t sleep on the Euros, which should be a dream competition for neutrals and fans alike.
More Details
England is hosting this year’s tournament, from July 6-31.
The usual suspects for tournament favorites include 2020 silver medalists Sweden, hosts England, club game powerhouse Spain, and dark horse Italy.
Sweden proved resilient on Tuesday against Brazil. After falling behind 1-0 off a strike by Debinha, the Swedes came back in quick succession to win the match in front of their home crowd 3-1.
England dominated the Netherlands over the weekend, 5-1, and will have their final tune-up match against Switzerland today.
Spain dropped seven goals on a rebuilding Australia on Saturday but will have a much firmer test against Italy before the Euros kick-off.

Other nations to keep an eye on include France, Germany, Norway, and Denmark.
Norway will be bolstered in the attack by superstar Ada Hegerberg, who rejoins her national team after declining call-ups for years due to unequal treatment.
France, as in years past, has the talent to get the job done, but a complicated relationship with manager Corinne Diacre brings their deep-tournament prospects into question.
Denmark did well against Brazil over the weekend, and Germany scored seven goals against Switzerland last week.
Don’t miss it — the tournament kicks off with England vs. Austria on July 6 at Old Trafford. The top nations have looked good in the run-up to the tournament, but anything can happen when the games begin.
