Other nominees are Rose Lavelle, Alex Morgan, Mallory Pugh, and Sophia Smith.
Nominees for Young Player of the Year were also announced, with Onyeka Gamero, Jaedyn Shaw, Alyssa Thompson, Riley Jackson, and Olivia Moultrie all receiving nods.

29 teams including holders, USWNT have qualified for the first FIFA Women’s World Cup with 32 teams.
Others include Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway, Philippines, Canada, Nigeria Republic of Ireland, Japan, Spain, Costa Rica, Zambia, China, Denmark, and England.
The Netherlands, Vietnam, Brazil, France, Jamaica, Sweden, Italy, Argentina, South Africa, Germany, South Korea, Colombia, and Morocco also qualified for the first Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted.
