Georginio Wijnaldum will not leave Al Ettifaq at any point in the current transfer window, according to a report posted on Ettifaq Network.

The 34 year old captain made the headlines a few days ago with a rumoured move to Fenerbahce.
The report went as far as stating that a medical examination had been scheduled for the player in Instanbul.

However, recent errors have dismissed such claim and established that the captain will continue his career at the club.
Wijnaldum was instrumental for Ettifaq last season, especially after the arrival of coach Saad Al Shehri.
He scored fourteen goals and provided four assists in the league for the Dammam based club.
