Williams Showcase Car For The Season

Formula one team, Williams becomes the sixth F1 team to unveil their livery car for the 2022 season to with the hope that it conforms to the new car regulations by the FIA.

The 8th placed team in the last season, showed the real car at Silverstone with their drive, Laif in the company of Abbo who will be making his debut this season as a Williams drivers.
The 8-time constructors winner revealed the FW44 car “different shades of blue in a diamond design, as well as dashes of red to highlight their British history.”
“Over its history as an iconic Formula 1 team, Williams Racing has shown great strength and sophistication,” said Team Principal Jost Capito. “The new visual identity of the 2022 car perfectly encapsulates these characteristics that the staff, drivers and fans have demonstrated time and time again.
“As we move into the new era of our sport, the FW44 highlights the transition to the future, as well as acknowledging the timeless qualities that make us who we are. Last season we were thrilled and proud to make such strong advancements as a team, with a number of well-earned points-scoring results in addition to a podium.

The team’s principal cannot categorically say how far the team can even though they seek to keep improving after moving from tenth position to eight in the previous seasons.
“That’s very difficult to say, isn’t it? I think compared to the top teams, we still were lacking that we didn’t have investment over the last years,” Capito said.
“And now we are from last year, we were limited by investments by the cost cap as well.
“But you know, everybody started from scratch with a new car and it’s very difficult to say where everybody starts out of the box.
“So for us progress will be how we can improve compared to competition during the season wherever we start the season.”
