German national player Sarai Linder will play for the VfL Wolfsburg women starting next season. The former European champions and German side confirmed the signing as a top reinforcement for their defense:.

Sarai Linder moved to Wolfsburg from league rivals TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and will join her new teammates on July 1, 2024. In Wolfsburg, the German international has signed a contract valid until June 30, 2027. She will wear the number 39.

The 24-year-old from Sinsheim is a TSG homegrown product and has played through all of Hoffenheim’s youth teams. She made her debut for the professional team in October 2016.

Since then, Linder has played 111 games in the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga, 13 in the DFB Pokal Cup, and 10 in the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL). In the 2020/2021 season, she also spent a year abroad in the United States of America (USA), where she joined the University of Central Florida team.

The 2016 U-17 European champion made her first appearance for the German senior national team on April 11, 2023 in a friendly against Brazil. Linder has now earned a regular place in the DFB squad.
