Defending Champions of Germany’s DFB Pokal, Wolfburg defeated FC Bayern 1-3 in the semi final on Sunday to make it to the final.

Jill Roord scored two goals at either halves which lifted Wolfsburg to consecutive DFB Pokal final after last season’s triumph.
She opened her scoring for Wolfsburg in the 19th minute to give her side a half time lead.
After the interval, Jovana Damnjanovic equalised for FC Bayern in the 50th minute.

Wolfsburg sealed up the game as Jill Roord scored her second goal to restore Wolfsburg’s lead in the 61st minute while Tabea Wassmuth made it 1-3.
The German Bundesliga Women league leaders put itself in reckoning for a treble after reaching the semi final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League where it will face defending Champions, FC Barcelona.
