WSL Unveils Top 10 All-Time Assisters

English Women’s Super League (WSL) unveiled its all-time top ten assisters in the league ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

Arsenal and England forward, Beth Mead lead the pack with 42 assists.
A creative and prolific forward, she has all-time most assists and all-time second-most goal contributions in the WSL.
Former Chelsea winger cum midfielder, Karen Carney with 35 assists is second on the list.
Carney began her career at Birmingham City and was twice named Football Association (FA) Young Player of the Year in 2005 and 2006. After signing with Arsenal, she experienced great success in 2006/2007 winning the UEFA Women’s Cup which is now known as the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) and all three domestic trophies.
Following two seasons with Chicago Red Stars in the American Women's league, Carney re-joined Birmingham City from 2011 to 2015. Carney finished her career with Chelsea where she was named Player of the Year in 2016 and captained the club to FA Cup title in 2017/2018. She retired in July 2019.
Close to Carney on the all time assisters list is Arsenal and the Netherlands forward, Vivianne Mediema with 34 assists.
Regularly cited as one of the greatest strikers in modern women's football, Miedema is the all-time leading scorer in the FA WSL and has scored more goals at the international level for the Netherlands than any other player, across both the women's and men's teams.

Arsenal left winger, Katie McCabe with 34 assists is neck to neck with teammate, Mediema on the list.

On 20 June 2023, the Republic of Ireland captain was announced as Arsenal Women Player of the Season. Her winning goal against Manchester City won Goal of the Season.
Chelsea midfielder, Fran Kirby with 31 assists complete the top five assisters in the WSL.
Former Manchester City and England player Ellen White with 30 assists, Aston Villa midfielder Jordan Nobbs (29 assists), Manchester United's Nikita Parris (29 assists), Suwon FC's Ji So-Yun (29 assists), and the duo of Fara Williams (former Reading midfielder) and Caroline Weir (Real Madrid midfielder) with 28 goals each complete the top ten assisters in the WSL.
