The contract details of Xabi Alonso with Bayer 04 Leverkusen has been revealed in big boost to his admirers especially Real Madrid who are looking for a suitable replacement for Brazil bound Carlo Ancelotti but they face stiff competition from Liverpool who also has him as prime target to replace Jurgen Klopp.

The Liverpool legend who played for Liverpool from 2004 to 2009 reportedly has a clause in his contract which would allow him to return to Anfield as manager next summer following his impressive run as boss of Bayer Leverkusen who currently sit top of the Bundesliga.
The 41-year-old is a favourite among many Liverpool fans to replace Jurgen Klopp when the German decides to leave the club but he is also a fan favourite at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, where he also enjoyed successful spells during his playing career.
According to BILD, the German publication is claiming that Alonso who is contracted at Leverkusen until 2026 has a clause in his deal which would allow him to join any of the three European heavyweights he played for during his career, as early as next summer.
Real Madrid are on the lookout for a new manager with Carlo Ancelotti set to join Brazil after his contract at the Bernabeu expires next summer as Mail Sport last week reported that Alonso is at the top of Real Madrid’s wish list, but is also top of Liverpool’s list of coaches beyond the reign of Klopp, and that of Bayern Munich if Tuchel doesn’t work out at the Bundesliga side.

Despite reportedly signing a contract extension over a year ago, Spanish giant Real Madrid are ready to make an official announcement of Vinícius Júnior’s extended stay with the Brazilian new deal set to keep him at Santaigo Bernabeu until 2027.

The plan was to do the announcement either this week or last, but Florentino Pérez contracted Covid which put all ideas to a halt. The new plan is to have a celebration of sorts after the international break when Vini returns from international duty, as reported by Relevo.
