His impressive performance includes a goal or an assist in nine consecutive matches, contributing to Charlotte’s five-game winning streak and their climb up the Eastern Conference standings.
After losing two key starters, Pep Biel and Ashley Westwood, to injuries, head coach Dean Smith moved Zaha into a central attacking position.
The move paid off when Zaha scored a powerful volley in the 85th minute, bringing his season total to an impressive 7 goals and 9 assists in his debut campaign.
