Australian boy, Nick Kyrgios was on his ruthless form again taking off his opponent, world number eight Casper Ruud in straight set 6-4, 6-4 to progress to the next round of the Indian Wells in California.

With the same pace with which he won world his first round and number 34, Federico Delbonis in the second round, the Australian Open doubles Champion, defeated Casper in over an hour.

It was his first top 10 win since beating Tsitsipas in the 2020 ATP Cup. Nick Kyrgios: “I wanna keep my head down, I wanna do big things.”
He is yet to drop a serve all week and looks very good despite he entered the tournament as a wildcard. He will face Italian 10th seed Jannik Sinner in the next round.
Nick is however out of the doubles after he and Thanasi Kokkinakis lost to Jack Sock and John Isner, former champions in Indian Wells, 6-3, 7-6(3). It ended the winning streak of the Australian Open winners.

Italian Jannik Sinner had to sweat it out almost three hours to conquer French Benjamin Bonzi 7-6(5), 3-6, 6-4 and reach the last 16 in Indian Wells.
