Orlando City Forward Attracting Interest From Belgian Pro League And Serie A – Report
Written by Patrick Echatah
LDH claims that RWDM plans to sign Duncan McGuire during the January transfer window.
More Details
The 22-year-old American plays as a forward for Orlando City SC, where he has contributed three assists and 13 goals in 29 games.
The team located in Brussels still needs players, even after adding an amazing 17 in the summer. Many of the ones that have arrived have already been judged to be surplus to needs, and in January they will be offloaded.
Nevertheless, even with all the new players, the team is in dire need of a forward to complement Makhtar Gueye, another summer addition, following the injury to star scorer Mickaël Biron.
The 26-year-old attacker, who was previously with Oostende, has scored six goals in 15 appearances this season. However, Biron was already on three out of nine when he got hurt. The intention was to pair the two, and without a striker like Biron at his side, Gueye has found it difficult to have the same impact.
There are other parties interested in the young American forward than RWDM. Bologna, a team in Serie A, is also considering the prospect of bringing the striker to Europe in January.

We are now seeing the development of Inter Miami, which will be a power in the league at the start of the next season.
Inter Miami CF’s head coach, Gerardo “Tata” Martino, has declared that the Club is once again interested in bringing in former teammate Luis Suárez during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Martino stated that the team is still interested in signing the 36-year-old Uruguayan during a press conference the day before Miami’s final MLS home game, which ended in a 2-2 draw with Charlotte FC.
