According to reports, Brighton & Hove Albion will soon announce the appointment of Fabian Hurzeler as their new head coach.
More Details
Since it was announced at the conclusion of the 2023–24 season that Roberto De Zerbi would be leaving the team by mutual consent, the Seagulls have been looking for his replacement.
Following a comprehensive data-driven research by CEO Paul Barber, technical director David Weir, and chairman and owner Tony Bloom, Brighton has determined that 31-year-old Hurzeler is their top management target.
According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Deutschland, after productive rounds of talks, a compensation price has now been agreed upon between Brighton and Hurzeler’s current club, St Pauli.
Hurzeler, who just obtained a work permit, will become the youngest manager in Premier League history when he signs a three-year contract at the Amex Stadium.

According to reports, Premier League clubs have approved the introduction of a development plan that will curb spending beginning with the 2025–2026 season.
The spending cap proposals were approved by 16 teams, and their goal is to keep the gap between the Premier League’s lower-half teams and its financial titans from growing.
Nevertheless, a report from BBC Sport claims that three teams vying for European football—Manchester United, Manchester City, and Aston Villa—are thought to have voted against the proposal.
